Our goal from the very start was to be 100% certified organic. This year, we worked on some raw materials that still required certification (myrrh, boldo, oregon grape root, yam, etc.). All of our growers are certified organic and are governed by international agencies recognized by our organic certification company (Ecocert Canada) as well as Quebec (CARTV) and Canadian regulations. Our Ecocert certification is valid for Quebec, Canada, the United States (NOP) and the European Union (CEE). All of our growers undergo inspections by certified agents while we closely monitor the annual renewal of their certification.
We are also following the development of the new Canadian organic certification in order to be in compliance as soon it is implemented. Each year, we audit several of our growers, both local and foreign, to ensure that they are respecting not only the letter, but also the spirit of organic farming.
